pdf-word-converter
PDF has become a standard format for documents, eBooks and others. But the problem with PDF files is that you can edit them easily. But if you can convert PDF into a word document, you can easily edit whatever you like. So what is the easiest way to convert PDF to word doc for free? The answer is – by using AnyBizSoft PDF to Word Converter
AnyBizSoft is known for some quality PDF based products for Windows and Mac, basically involving conversion of PDF files to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, Text and EPUB formats. While most of these tools are sharewares, PDF to Word converter tool is provided free of cost (for non-commercial usage).

It supports all Windows operating systems including Windows 7. It even supports encrypted PDF files conversion. There are 3 conversion modes available – Batch, Partial and Right-click conversion modes. It can covert PDF to Word 2010 (.docx) 2007(.docx), 2003(.doc). The original text, layouts, images and hyperlinks can be exactly retained in the generated Word documents. Modifying or reusing the contents becomes easy after converting PDF to Word.
AnyBizSoft PDF to word converter 2.5.3 can be downloaded from here. You can get a free key by just filling up a small form. For some reason, the registration key email was caught in the spam folder for me, so make sure you cross check as well.
When I first ran AnyBizSoft PDF to word converter tool on my laptop, it failed to convert the PDF to word since I didn’t have Microsoft Office installed. This is a major limitation, since many people might prefer an open source solution over MS Office. Then I tested it on my PC, which has MS office installed. The installation was breeze, UI is simple and easy-to-use and the conversion process was pretty fast. The best part of AnyBizSoft PDF converter is that you can selectively choose the pages you want to convert by putting in the desired page numbers!
One might notice some misalignment problems in the converted word documents especially if the PDF has complex structure like multiple columns, but that is expected and under acceptable limits I believe. Do share your experience in the comments below.
Update: AnyBizSoft has confirmed to us that having MS Office is a must when using PDF to Word converter v2.5.3, but then their latest version 3.0 fixes this issue. It also has improvements in table conversion. You can download it here.
