The devices are characterized by super-thin 3mm bezels giving them a compact look like on the Mi 4. The Mi Note is just 6.95mm thin and weighs just 161g. The 13MP rear camera is the second gen Sony IMX214 lens with CMOS sensor and f/2.0 aperture promising excellent low light performance. The devices come with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for better low light snaps. There’s also a Philips 2-tone flash to deliver true-to-life lighting. The front camera is a 4MP affair with large 2-micron pixels.
When it comes to connectivity, the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro comes with Dual 4G with dual standby, with one supporting a nano-sum and the other supporting a micro-SIM. This is the first time we are seeing dual 4G connectivity on a smartphone. The Mi Note Pro comes with cat-9 LTE support with speeds up to 450Mbps.
Xiaomi has some special features when it comes to audio support as well. The Mi Note and Mi Note Pro come with Hi-Fi audio system and 24-bit/192KHz lossless playback support, something similar to what we saw on the Honor 6 Plus last month.
