Find your Lost Android Phone with AirDroid 2

Losing your smartphone is something that you all fear. It contains all your personal data, contacts, pictures and it has access to most of your online accounts. You can imagine how frustrating losing the device can be. Although there are more than one apps that allow you to completely wipe your phone or locate it, they operate over the Internet, as is the case with Lookout Mobile and Carbonite.
AirDroid 2 is the app that will allow you to find your phone via the GSM network, thus making it harder for someone to conceal the device, even when the Internet connectivity has been disabled. The latest version of the app allowed users to control their phones from any browser, and with the latest upgrade of the app, it can be used as a great security measure.

Also, you can access the phone’s camera, take a screenshot of the device’s screen or access any other information stored on the device, from messages, pictures to files or apps. Every feature of your phone is available via the web interface.
Note: The sync process could take some time, depending on your Internet speed.
Also, the app offers some cool tools. Users can find a task manager, app manager, file browser and other utilities can be downloaded from within the app. All in all, AirDroid 2 is an awesome app and with the added benefit of providing location information as well access to the phone’s camera, this can be one of the best apps you can have on your Android smartphone.
