F-Secure Anti-Theft Security For Mobile

Mobile phone thefts have increased drastically in recent times and it can be devastating for the victim especially since the phone can contain private and important information which might lead to identity theft and other serious implications.
One of the world’s well known security providers, F-Secure have released F-Secure Anti-Theft For Mobile, a free security software for cell phones running Symbian OS, Windows Mobile or Android. This security app can remotely lock the smartphone, locate it or simply wipe off the data contained in the phone.


What more? If the phone gets lost/stolen and the thief changes the SIM card, the Theft Control feature locks the phone automatically and informs you of the new number. We have seen similar free apps which can track your lost iPhone but Anti-Theft Security app from F-Secure is a boon for non-iPhone users like Symbian, Android and Windows mobile.
